SPECIAL NOTICE FROM: SUMMIT CHRISTIAN ACADEMY, INC.

After 29 years of serving the homeschool community, it is with a very sad heart that we must announce the closing of Summit Christian Academy, Inc. Unless God intervenes in a mighty way, our official closing date is June 30, 2010.

The purpose of this notification is two-fold.

1. FINISH WELL CAMPAIGN- The commitment to finish out the school year with our current families and students, resulted in our taking on some debt to do so. This was not an easy choice, but we’ve had families come to us where their school closed with no explanation or means of contacting them for school records, etc. Shutting our doors and walking away, leaving our families to fend for themselves, was just something we could not, and would not do. So, with great reluctance, but at the urging of several current and former students and families we are having a
“FINISH WELL FUND-RAISING CAMPAIGN”
SUMMIT CHRISTIAN ACADEMY, INC. is a NON-PROFIT 501 (C) (3) Corporation; therefore any donations made to Summit qualify as a tax-deduction. You have our commitment that 100% of your donation will go towards paying down Summit’s debt. Any remaining funds will go towards charitable organizations. You will be provided with confirmation of your donation for tax purposes upon request. If Summit has been a blessing to you and your family, we would be honored by your donation. 2. Transcript Orders: We need to alert graduates of Summit’s pending closing, and to recommend that they contact us to acquire copies of their transcripts. There is a nominal fee for this service, and we are recommending that the graduate acquire at least 3 copies: 1- personal copy, and 2 copies in sealed envelopes. The first copy is $15.00 with additional copies $5.00 each. Acceptable forms of payment: Money Order only. If you are a graduate, or if you know a graduate of Summit Christian Academy, please call as soon as possible to place a transcript order. 469-523-0100
